2002-2005 Towards European Standards for Testing CIECA
The TEST project is an analysis of the Contents, the Location and the Duration of the practical driving test for obtaining a category B driving licence.
The main goals of the TEST project can be defined as follow
  • Defining the relationship between how long a test lasts, where the test takes place, when the test takes place and what is dealt with in the test
  • Examining whether the driving tests conducted in different countries in Europe or in different test centres in the same country are the same and require the same skills and attitudes from the candidates
  • Discovering whether the problem of high accident rates among learner and novice drivers is being dealt with and resolved through the driving test.
