The report describes the recommendations developed by experts in a CIECA workshop organised for the study Analyses of the theory and the practical test for categories A, C and D, their trailer- and subcategories.

Directive 91/439/EEC served as the basis for discussion. The contents of the Directive were analysed and partly regrouped and recommendations were formulated concerning:

  • The harmonisation of the subcategories;
