Dear CIECA members,
During the General Assembly held online on 10 November 2020, due to the Covid-19 outbreak, CIECA members approved the strategy for the period 2021–2025. This strategy has guided CIECA's actions over the past five years, ensuring the organisation's continued development.
As this period draws to a close, it is now essential to outline our goals for the next five years, particularly in light of the current social, economic, and technological developments.
The Permanent Bureau believes it is important for all members to be involved in revising the strategic choices that CIECA needs to make for its future and in setting new goals for the organisation.
With this in mind, the Permanent Bureau invites all CIECA members to share their views so that:
- Members can contribute to defining the short- and long-term goals of our organisation.
- Members have the opportunity to interact and express their vision for future collaboration with our organisation to achieve these goals.
Therefore, the CIECA Permanent Bureau invites all members to attend the Strategy Workshop, which will be held online on 8 April 2025. This workshop will allow members to comment on the draft proposal prepared by the CIECA Permanent Bureau. You can find the draft proposal here:
- Draft New Strategy Proposal 2025 - 2030 (accessible only for CIECA members)
To assist with your review, the Secretariat has prepared a list of questions to consider while reading the document. You can find the questions by clicking on the link below:
- Questions to Facilitate Reading (accessible only for CIECA members)
We kindly request that you include your comments in the proposal paper (e.g., by enabling the Track Changes feature) and send it back by 1 April 2025 to Augusta Sica, CIECA Managng Director, at augusta.sica@cieca.eu.
The input provided by members during the Strategy Workshop will be used to further develop a renewed strategy, which will be presented for approval to all CIECA members during the 2025 General Assembly on 28 May 2025 in Porto, Portugal.
We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to the vital discussions that will shape the future direction of our organisation.
Thank you very much for your collaboration.
