21.05.2012. The CIECA Secretariat attended the 5th ECOWILL Consortium Meeting which took place in Zagreb on 15 – 16 May 2012. ECOWILL (eco-driving-widespread implementation for learner drivers and licensed drivers) is a project co-funded by the EU's Intelligent Energy Europe (IEE) programme. CIECA takes part in the project as a member of the ECOWILL Advisory Board.
The meeting offered the opportunity for project partners and members of the Advisory Board to discuss the results of different work packages 12 months before scheduled project completion. CIECA and the European Driving Schools Association (EFA), both involved in the WP7 - Harmonisation of driving school curriculum and driver test, gave a common presentation on the currently prepared Blueprint for the integration of ecodriving into curricula for learner driver education and driver testing. Several external experts contributed to the fruitful meeting.
