CIECA recently celebrated its 50th anniversary by holding a congress under the brilliant sun of Marseille, France. Hosted by the French Ministry of Transport, the “Lifelong learning in road safety” programme (June 9) provided for a range of internationallyrenowned speakers to set out their educational objectives for road safety for all age groups in society, ‘from the cradle to the grave’. The congress brought together over 400 delegates from Europe, North America, North Africa and Australasia. The Congress report can be downloaded here.
